1. Consider from the user's point of view: Since marble is a microporous material, it is easy to absorb dirt and water, so in our daily life, we must first establish a cleaning and wiping method that uses less or less water (such as using electrostatic dust to push oil or micro damp mop), and try to avoid the spilling and infiltration of all kinds of oil (if conditions permit, you can do marble oil-proof treatment in advance); when there are hard objects or sharp objects to drag, please use a cart or put soft cotton cloth, paper under the object shell etc. To avoid the walking friction of the marble by the external sand, then use a dust pusher or a vacuum cleaner to frequently push the dust in the walking area , thus effectively avoiding fine scratches.
2. Consider from a professional point of view: In order to enhance the hardness, density, wear resistance, and antifouling of the surface stone: strengthen the hardness of the stone surface through chemical materials (such as waxing, reconstructing crystal surface, resin coating, paste curing, liquid Hardener).
3. From the perspective of economical application:
A. Waxing maintenance: It belongs to the process of 15 years ago, and is basically eliminated now, because the wax water is easily hydrolyzed and easily polluted, and it will cover the gloss of the marble itself, and the wax itself is softer, plus the later stage The high cost of waxing, cleaning and re-waxing makes this type of maintenance almost withdraw from the stage of professional stone maintenance.
B. Reconstructed crystal surface: This is the most used marble maintenance method in China in the past 10 years. Its basic principle is to put some chemical materials under the mirror maintenance machine with a weight of more than 65 kg, and use the polishing machine driven by the rotation of the machine. The heat formed by the friction of the pad (or silk cotton) on the ground produces chemical bonding and micro-rheological reflection with the marble surface structure and tissue, and through the dual action of grinding and filling, a harder and brighter blend is re-formed on the marble surface. The crystalline layer, this crystalline layer can improve the strength and wear resistance of marble, and at the same time can peel off part of the aging layer for reconstruction. In the process of crystal surface reconstruction, there is no need to close the site, and you can go as you do, and the economic performance of materials, cost, and labor is the most economical type among various maintenance methods. The material states of crystal surface reconstruction are: solid, powder, water, slurry, paste (will be discussed below) and other forms, but they all belong to the category of crystallization.
C. Paste solidification: Based on the above-mentioned crystal surface process, some domestic and foreign manufacturers have designed nano-molecule + water-soluble resin and silicon molecules combined paste crystalline material, we can continue to call it paste solidification (some people call it sealing glaze, some others The principle is to rub the paste material on the marble surface or the surface of the polishing pad, and gradually rub the nano-molecules, silicon molecules and resin components to the stone molecules through the weight of the low-speed polishing machine and the heat generated by grinding. Inside the hole and solidified to the surface layer and form a solidified layer with a harder texture to improve the surface brightness, wear resistance, and antifouling of marble; The reason is that this method is more economical and cost-effective than the principle of crystal surface reconstruction, and this process has high filling performance and low grinding performance, so it cannot be applied to some stones with more severe weathering and poor surface smoothness.
D. Liquid curing agent: This kind of maintenance method is suitable for infiltrating into the interior of the stone during the process of marble renovation and repair, which can strengthen the loose marble. Therefore, the maintenance of the crystal surface alone cannot be used independently. Hard - grinding - fine grinding - polishing - crystal face reconstruction can be completed, we will discuss it in the refurbishment process (not part of the daily crystal face reconstruction process).
To sum up, marble crystal surface reconstruction (commonly known as stone crystallization) is the most common and most scientific stone maintenance method at present. Through the regular or planned crystal surface reconstruction and maintenance system based on the status quo or the type of stone, the marble floor can be commonly used. Changxin avoids more serious defects such as weathering, decomposition, porosity, and bursting of the stone, effectively lowers the cost of using the stone, and avoids the investment risk of consumers.
